The storm in the south east.

Hello gemeente.

So far this has been a lousy autumn with lots of gales.

Around 100 cars, many of them rented cars were damaged in

the north storm on the south-east part last weekend,

mostly by sandstorm and flying pebbles.

Many cars had broken screens and sanblastet varnish.

The insurances do not cover this kind of damages, (read the

small letters in the contract) So now many people have to

pay many hundred of thousends of krónur for the damage

of the car they rented. Not a good end to a vacation !
